Passive water intakes

A passive water intake is a static welded structure in the form of a hollow perforated drum or a half-drum, designed to draw water from a reservoir/watercourse. The filter surface is made of a V-shaped, non-clogging sieve.

Advantages:

  • "Z" - sieve material (special copper and nickel alloy) effectively protects from overgrowth of shells and seaweed - passive scaring;
  • remains effective over time;
  • requires no costs.
